Architect-designed interiors incorporate numerous original elements from the former church and rectory building including beautiful stonework, broad arches, an elegant exterior updated with huge windows, yet aesthetically in tune with the original structure. The Rectory building was designed by Hartwell, Richardson & Driver in 1898. This firm was the successor firm of H.H. Richardson and is widely respected. The residences were built by Phoenix Construction, winner of the Town of Watertown's Historic Commission 2009 Environmental Preservation Award, the 2008 Contractor of the Year Gold Award and two Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) awards. They have been recognized for overall construction excellence, and the firm has championed not only ingenious and comfortable design and the best possible materials, but a "green" perspective, choosing energy-efficient products and state-of-the-art building methods.
